Introducing Dwight

The chroot system call provides a great starting point for creating preconfigured deployment platforms and testing environments. However, integrating it into your workflow can be tedious with regard to path configuration, mounts that need unshareing, etc.

dwight (dwight-chroot, get it?) is a utility which enables you to set up such environments in an automated manner, using clear and practical configuration files. It was created by me, but the credit for the idea and motivation goes to Yotam Rubin.

Feel free to get it, experiment with it, and fork it at its Github page.
